  1. The new Adjunct comes conceived by sometime Kickboxer protagonist Johan Fotmeijer: "listen and repeat", decipher and liberate - this is devious, deviant and positively errant in its aspect. "The pen" is momentarily lost in a maze, the stuttering intercom fails to lead the way out. "All about respect" pulls the proceedings round, offering some decent bassdrum and a semblance of boogie, followed.

  3. After his track on the 'Planet Delsin' compilation, Colin Lindo delivers here his debut EP for Amsterdam's Delsin label. 'Typewriter' is a freaked out dark funky techno track, excellent for the floor as it builds and builds. The flipside delivers three slices of deep techno-soul, with a spoken word track 'Aqua Mindstate' and two beatless soundscapes. Ace.

Sender Records boss, Benno Blome, remixes "Dark Outlines" into a trippy late night.

  6. Detroit producer ANDRES has released 12"s on MAHOGANI, MOODS & GROOVES, NDATL and his own LA VIDA label. Now we get this super-limited EP on HIZOU doing two house tracks with sun-kissed soulful beats: the eponymous title cut and the funked up flipside "NIGHT TIME IS THE RIGHT TIME".

This seven-minute track is as aesthetically pleasing as the Andreas Gursky photo on the sleeve, held together by superbly balanced and finely tweaked production, all boasting satisfyingly punchy beats and some ADSR tomfoolery on the synth lines that's enough to wreak merry havoc on your ears. Nice job.
